The bottom storage is perfect for shoes or dirty clothes while traveling, as well as the front pocket for easy access. This bag could easily be
a weekender, with its bottom zipped compartment for shoes etc, and the many individual pockets for organizing your ‘stuff’. It would be perfect it it were slightly smaller, say the width of my roll-aboard so it didn’t catch on seats while entering/exiting the plane. But for the convenience of this bag, I’ll take a little imperfect.
